We are delighted winning a “Special Mention” award for the Porsche brand pop-up concept “The Sound of Porsche” at the Automotive Brand Contest 2015. According to the jury, we have come up with an “innovative way to experience the Porsche brand”.
Each year, the prestigious German Design Council awards outstanding automotive design and brand management at the Automotive Brand Contest. An international jury of industry and design experts picks only the best works that show important trends in design and marketing. And apparently, our work for the Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG is just that. Here’s jury member Hans Meier-Kortwig on The Sound of Porsche:
Brands need strong, differentiating codes. Porsche drivers worldwide would agree that the sound of Porsche engines is of fundamental importance. It is only logical to make this accessible to a broader audience as part of a temporary brand presentation. The pop-up store is an innovative way to relate and experience the Porsche brand history, and to get younger target groups interested in the brand. Porsche’s courage to leave the beaten track of automobile communication proved to be the convincing factor.
The actual award ceremony will take place on 15 September 2015 at the International Motor Show IAA in Frankfurt/Germany.
