The Uber Breathalizer

Uber might have its problems over here in Germany, but it doesn’t stop the ridesharing service from experimenting with a more holistic user experience. After all, as an app it is quite difficult to stand out in your brand marketing.

In their latest publicity stunt, the company set up an “UberSafe” kiosk in Toronto that gives inebriated Torontonians a free ride home after they’ve blown into a breathalyzer. We think it’s a clever way to create a more tangible experience for a brand completely dependent on an app and its network of private drivers.
